Manitoba Comic Con 2008!

I do realize we probably have the lamest Comic Con in the whole world, but!:

The Due South DVDs came today! \o/ abbylee and I were amused at the idiocy of the season 4 blurb, though. I had noticed that they screwed up CKR's name and called him 'Keith Callum Renne', like some sort of Francophone version of himself. Or something. But it gets better!

Okay, I'm trying to figure out how to save season 2 eps of SGA to DVD, and it's taking a lot more work than I hoped it would. It seems I have to import it into Movie Maker, put all the clips in a timeline, save it to hard drive, and then burn it to DVD. And I still haven't figured out if I can make a menu or not. *grumbles ( Read more... )

You know, I am most displeased with the packaging for Firefly. I mean, considering the price, you'd think it would be more sophisticated than the Stargate ones. No liner notes. They gave the priest a cover, and all the DVDs have the same artwork. A little disappointing, really. And there's no Joss-touch. You know. Funny. It's just...plain. Pfft ( Read more... )
